The original Jagmaster was only made between 1996 and 1998 but in 2000 it was reintroduced and this time included the stunning “Silver Sparkle” finish seen on this guitar.
The Squier Jagmaster combines features from the Fender Jazzmaster and Jaguar guitars, updated to reflect more modern pickup and hardware tastes yet still retaining the retro vibe of the offset body style.
This rare Squier Jagmaster, made in 2000, features:
- solid alder body
- “Silver Sparkle” finish with black pickguard
- bolt on 25.5″ scale 21 fret maple neck with rosewood fretboard
- modern Strat-style 2 point tremolo bridge
- 2 Duncan Designed humbucker pickups
- 1 x volume, 1 x tone and 3 way toggle selector switch
The frets have been levelled, crowned and polished and the guitar set up with a set of 9 – 42 strings.
The guitar is in excellent condition except for one small chip in the finish (as seen in the photos) which is hardly noticable and is in an inconspicuous place. Over the years the finish has aged slightly and now has a slight golden hue to it in certain light.
